Overview

PGFG is Sub-Frost’s food-grade propylene glycol (NSF Registered, Category HT1, Reg. No. 169143), formulated for heat transfer where incidental food contact is possible. It’s built on GRAS ingredients acceptable as direct food additives under 21 CFR Subparts 182 and 184, with a dipotassium-phosphate inhibitor package that protects the system without phosphate-free compromise.

For brewers, winemakers, and dairies who get audited under SQF and BRCGS, the difference between food-grade and industrial glycol near product is the difference between passing and failing. PGFG ships with the documentation auditors ask for, at any pre-mix from 25% to full concentrate.
