Overview
PGHD is Sub-Frost’s flagship inhibited propylene glycol, engineered for the closed-loop systems that keep industrial HVAC, hydronic, and process plants running. Its high-phosphate, multi-component inhibitor package protects copper, brass, solder, steel, cast iron, and aluminum, while azole compounds add dedicated soft-metal protection and help prevent the scaling and fouling that shorten fluid life.
Blended from 100% virgin propylene glycol and shipped at any pre-mix from 25% to full concentrate, PGHD meets ASTM D1384, D8039, and D8040 and is designed for roughly 15 years of service before a recommended recharge. Recover & Replace service is available on this heavy-duty line.
